Clean Stables=Unfulfilled Lives

"Without oxen a stable stays clean, but you need a strong ox for a large harvest." (Proverbs 14:4 NLT)

Did you ever get the feeling that reading the proverbs was like reading a fortune cookie?! Each chapter filled with many bits of wisdom! And here is a peculiar piece of understanding. What it means is that everything is neat and tidy where there is no risk, but nothing gets accomplished in life. No new house or car, no new vital relationships, no extraordinary new job, no seeing new lands places... Suddenly, life is small, stagnant, and still as everything and everyone passes on by. But, hey, everything is safe and tidy! Life is not safe or guaranteed, but God is, and He never created you to hide, but to live. Living, not existing, takes faith that it's all going to workout, but only when based on God. Don't hide anymore! Don't fear change! Let God lead you as you take right risks and seize the life He created just for you! Enjoy the messes and the excitement! You are loved today!
