My last bad meal...Tonight, I ate my last bad meal. It's not a new years resolution, It is the beginning of taking back my life. There was a time when I practically lived in a boxing gym, ran 5 miles a day, had 6 pack abs and muscles in my earlobes. I ate healthy and other than diet coke (my lifelong vice) I was very careful about what I put in my body... Injuries turned into excuses, my career became an excuse, never trust a skinny chef they'd say. Late night family meal with the other chefs after a long day of work, bad sleep habits, and a very high stress job all led to very bad eating and lifestyle habits. A few years ago I started losing weight and lost 65 pounds, then a health issue derailed my weightloss and gave me another excuse and now I am the heaviest I have ever been. While I am very healthy, I do have a degree in Food and Nutrition so I know if I don't take control of my life it won't be long before my health quickly starts to fail. Tomorrow, I restart my journey to lose 100 pounds. No excuses. No negative input. No room to fail.
